Keota girls have good outing at English Valleys

NORTH ENGLISH – The Keota High School girls’ track and field team participated in several events at English Valleys High School on Tuesday, April 8. Several of the Eagle girls placed highly in the individual and relay events that they participated in.
Brooke Sieren finished first in the 200-meter dash with her time of 31.65 seconds. Kelsi Sieren followed that up with a second-place performance in the 400-meter hurdles, her time being one minute and 27 seconds.  K. Sieren also took third place in the long Jump at 13 feet 11 inches and in the 400-meter dash in 1:17.69.
Mallory Ladehoff placed third in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 16:04.66. Keota’s 4x200-meter relay team of Abby Schulte, Cortney Hyman, Brooke Sieren, and Erin Chalupa placed third in 2:18.63.
The sprint medley team of Schulte, Hyman, B. Sieren, and Chalupa had a time of 2:30.81 and the 4x100-meter relay quartet of K. Sieren, Schulte, B. Sieren, and Chalupa finished in 1:02.96.
The Eagle girls will be on the track again tomorrow afternoon at Clear Creek-Amana High School in Tiffin.
