The Washington girls team fought hard on its home court Tuesday night, but ended up losing against Mid-Prairie.

The final score was 46-57.

“I thought overall we had many positives from the game Tuesday night,” head coach Jordan Bentley said. “We shot the 44 percent from 3-point range, which is the highest for the year. We really need to focus on taking care of the basketball and rebounding. We will prepare by getting as many shots up in practice as possible and getting ourselves focused on ending the regular season on a high note.”

Sarah Nacos had 16 points for the night. She made 3 of her 8 3-point shots.

Isabelle Bailey had 10 points. She made 3 of her 4 3-point shots.

Morgan Brinning had 9 points, which were all inside the paint that evening.

The team’s free-throw average for the game was 81.2 percent.

Their 2-point average was 24 percent.

Washington will travel to Mount Pleasant Friday night for the final game of the season.
