4-H members started their training and work shifts at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28 for the 4-H Pancakes & More Fundraiser Breakfast.  Some of the first shift of workers included Emma and Claire Stalder who were in charge of coffee. They are the daughters of Matt and Betsy Stalder of Washington. Almost all 18 4-H clubs were represented at the 4-H breakfast sharing volunteer duties.

Washington County 4-H hosted its annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 28, at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The breakfast was held from 7-10:30 a.m. serving pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, juice, milk and coffee. ver 450 people enjoyed the breakfast meal served by a collection of 90 4-H members and volunteers.

Money raised will support the 4-H enrollment fees of the Washington County 4-H members.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the morning possible including Vicky Fisher, Duane Hammen, John Marek, Heidi Morrison, Brian Eakins, John Wagner, Angie Sieren, Nicole Stoutner, Carol Horning, Randy Stalder, Matt Stalder, Jackie Ross, and so many more 4-H volunteers, leaders, members and parents. Thank you to the following who donated items including: Dan and Rachel Berdo, JWV Pork, SASS Family Farms, Washington State Bank, Hills Bank, Washington County Farm Bureau-Ann C Williams Agent, HyVee, Exporter Elevator and Fareway.
