Picnic shelter at Keota trailhead

Jun 21, 2018

The Keota Visioning Committee and the City of Keota have been working together to design a trailhead for the Kewash. The design includes rerouting the west 325 feet of the trail south around Farmers Coop’s feed mill. The trailhead has a parking area, lighting  and a picnic shelter. Restrooms are planned. The trailhead provides a safer, easier access for trail users as well as a welcoming entrance to the community. In addition to the local trail users, the trailhead could draw bicyclists and runners to the community.
