Pioneer seed grants available

Oct 25, 2012

Each year Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc. offers grants to 4-H clubs for local community improvement projects. The purpose is to provide “seed money” that clubs can use to start their project. Grants awarded vary from $25 to $250. Clubs who have received the grant in the past must be undertaking a new project to be eligible for funding again. Grants are for new projects - not those already completed or in progress.

Pioneer Grant applications and information are available at the Washington County Extension Office at 319-653-4811, or at <http://www.extension.iastate.edu/4h/pioneergrants>. Completed applications are due to the Washington County Extension Office by Dec. 1.
