Douglas Joe Wieland, 50, of Riverside, was arrested Thursday morning in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Traffic accidents
A vehicle reportedly went into the ditch in the 3100 block of Highway 218 in Crawfordsville. The vehicle was towed out.

Traffic other
A vehicle reportedly blew a tire in the 3000 block of 192nd Street in Ainsworth Thursday evening. Debris was all over the roadway. The vehicle was drivable and the roadway was cleared.

Fire calls
Riverside Fire was requested Thursday morning to the 4400 block of 660th Street in Lone Tree to assist Lone Tree and Hills Fire for an out of control grass fire. Riverside Fire responded.
A possible field fire was reported Thursday night in the 1200 block of Hoot Owl Hollow in Brighton. Richland Fire responded. It was a controlled burn.  
A grass fire was reported nearing a railroad right of way at Elm and 275th in Washington. Washington Fire Department responded and assisted the rail company. The fire was extinguished.

Search warrant
Officers reported executing a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Fourth Street in Wellman Thursday night. Charges are pending. A report will be filed.

All other thefts
A gas drive-off in the amount of $10 was reported Thursday afternoon in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers contacted the registered owner who had her friend return and pay the bill.
A cell phone and a bag were reported stolen Thursday afternoon in the 900 block of West Madison Street in Washington. The bag was later located. Officers spoke with the caller. The phone was entered into the system.
A bike was reported stolen from a residence in the 600 block of East Second Street in Washington Thursday evening. The incident was documented.

Animal complaints
An injured deer was reported in the roadway at Spruce Avenue and Riverside Road in Riverside. Officers responded.
A barking dog was reported Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of Seventh Avenue in Wellman. The dog had been taken inside the residence before deputies arrived.
A horse was reported in the roadway in the 1900 block of Highway 92 in Washington. Officers responded and contacted the owners.

Loud music was reported coming from a residence in the 500 block of Ninth Avenue in Wellman Thursday night. Officers spoke with the resident.

All other offenses
A caller in the 700 block of 10th Avenue in Wellman reported Thursday afternoon that two subjects were attempting to sell meat door to door. One subject had come inside the caller’s residence without permission. Officers located the subjects and advised them to get the proper permits if they were going to sell in town.
A caller in the 300 block of West 18th Street in Washington reported Thursday evening that her 11-year-old granddaughter did not come home from school. Officers responded. While on scene the juvenile returned home. Officers spoke with all parties. An iPad belonging to the school district was seized.
A caller in the 300 block of West 18th Street in Washington reported Thursday evening that his 11-year-old niece was out of control. Officers responded and spoke with all parties. The parties advised they would get along for the night.
Children were reported in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington Thursday evening and were often running outside around, on or near the highway. Cars were honking at them as they drove by. Officers responded. The children were inside on arrival.

Suspicious activity
Suspicious activity was reported Thursday morning among students in the 300 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington. A report will be filed.
