Charles Levi Hinh, 32, of Wayland, was arrested Tuesday night on two counts of harboring a runaway and two counts of supplying alcohol to a minor.

Kimberly Thomas, 36, of Mount Pleasant, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington on a charge of fifth-degree theft.


Traffic other

A caller Tuesday afternoon in the 700 block of West Monroe Street in Washington reported that a truck had been sitting in front of his residence for three days without being moving. Tires were chalked, and a 24-hour tow tag was placed on the vehicle.


Disabled vehicles

An officer reported being out with a vehicle that was covered in mud, Tuesday morning at 220th Street and Highway 1 in Washington. It had been sitting there for some time. Documentation was made.

A caller Tuesday night in the 2700 block of 260th Street in Washington reported a possible disabled vehicle. An officer responded. A second officer attempted to make contact with the registered owner at their residence in Washington and was unable to locate. A towing company was requested since the vehicle had been left in the roadway. The towing service towed the vehicle, to be released upon payment of the tow bill.


Civil dispute

A caller Tuesday morning in the 1300 block of West Madison Street in Washington reported that a resident was having a dispute with management, and they wanted her to leave. Officers responded. The subject was given until 11 a.m. Friday to vacate the room.


DP & Q

A caller Tuesday night in the 200 block of Jefferson Street in Kalona reported loud music coming from a residence. An officer was advised, but all deputies were busy on other emergencies.

A caller Tuesday night in the 600 block of West Tyler Street in Washington reported loud music coming from the lower level, on the opposite side of her building. An officer checked the area and was unable to locate any loud music.


Search warrant

An officer reported conducting a search warrant, Wednesday morning in the 3200 block of Redwood Avenue in Wayland. The search warrant was executed.


Stolen property

A caller Tuesday morning in the 1100 block of South Avenue B in Washington requested to speak with an officer regarding two possible stolen computers. An officer responded. The information was documented only for the time being.


Welfare check

A caller Tuesday afternoon in the 700 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington requested a welfare check. An officer did a welfare check. There was no problem.


All other offenses

A caller Tuesday morning in the 300 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington reported that a faculty member requested the office call for an officer, unknown situation. An officer responded and advised that things would be handled internally.
