Juan Bosco Mareno Garibay, 28, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday afternoon at the 100 block of West 15th Street for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and a drug tax stamp violation.



There were reports of a female leaving her friend’s residence after they vandalized their own residence. Caller also advised they have marijuana. Emily Michele Nash, 24, of Brighton was arrested in the 100 block of East Madison Street in Washington for serious assault and public intoxication.


All other thefts

Caller reported last Friday the theft of items from her house at the 600 block of Park Street in Ainsworth. Possibly taken by family members. The incident was documented.

A person reported their cell phone was stolen from Pizza Ranch at the end of September. The cell phone was a Samsung Galaxy S4. The phone has been entered into the system as stolen.


Suspicious activity

Someone attempted to steal his black dump truck trailer sometime Friday night at the 1200 block of East Seventh Street in Washington. The trailer was pulled 30 feet on the property and then was left. There were cable locks on the tires. The caller has now added a tongue lock. The caller requested documentation and extra patrol.



Someone attempted to break in through the back entrance door located at the 1400 block of East Washington Street in Washington. No entry was made into the building. The incident was documented and extra patrol will happen.



A caller at the 900 block of Second Street in Washington believes someone opened an account in her name. The incident was documented.


Animal complaints

A brown pit bull with a choke collar was reported at a residence in the 1300 block of First Avenue in Wellman. The dog was bleeding at the neck. The callers were able to chase the dog off of their property but are unsure whom it belongs to. The incident was documented. The sheriff’s department will attempt to locate the owner.

A donkey was reported on the road at Riverside Road South of 230th Street. Washington Police Department responded and returned the donkey to its home.

Welfare check

Caller requested an officer go with her to her brother’s residence at the 900 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington to check on her brother and his 12 year-old son. Washington Police responded. Subject was fine.

A caller heard a female screaming at an 8-month-old baby at the 300 block of East Madison Street in Washington. The Washington Police Department responded. The female was yelling at the dog and the baby is fine.
