Joshua Lee Holmes, 33, of Olds, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington on a Washington County warrant for possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine, first offense.

Gail Ann Osborn, 28, of Gowrie, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 1100 block of First Avenue North in Denison on a Washington County warrant for second-degree theft.

Brett Allen Wulf, 37, of Washington, was arrested Thursday morning in the 800 block of South Second Avenue in Washington on a charge of domestic abuse assault, third offense.


Traffic accident

A caller Wednesday night in the 1000 block of Walnut Avenue in Riverside reported he struck a deer on the way home from work, on Highway 218 and 175th. The vehicle involved was a 2004 Toyota Corolla. Documentation was made.


Traffic stop serious

A traffic stop was reported Wednesday night at East Third Street and North Second Avenue in Washington. A citation was issued to Dianna Marie Petersen-Bell, 61, of Washington, for driving under suspension.


Hang-up 911 calls

Dispatch reported receiving a hang-up 911 call locating in the area of the 2800 block of 170th Street in Riverside, Wednesday night. An officer responded and did not locate anything in the area.



A caller Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington reported being threatened by phone and social media. An officer spoke with the caller and planned to attempt to make contact with subjects who were threatening/harassing her.


Suspicious activity

A caller Wednesday night in the 300 block of West Monroe Street in Washington requested to speak to an officer about one of her children, who was showing inappropriate images to the siblings. An officer responded. This was a parenting matter, and it should be resolved.


Welfare check

A caller Wednesday night in the 100 block of North Glasgow Street in Riverside requested a welfare check on an employee who did not show up for work. An officer spoke with the parents, who made contact with her. She was going to call personnel at the work site.


All other theft

A caller Thursday morning in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington reported $260 in cash and a $50 money order were stolen from her wallet. An officer left a voice mail for the caller to call back in.


All other offenses

A caller Wednesday morning in the 600 block of North Avenue B in Washington reported that his mother had him trapped inside the residence. She was not home. An officer responded. The subject was not trapped. He was told he was an adult and could leave the residence on his own.

A caller Wednesday afternoon in the 400 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington requested assistance with a home visit. An officer responded and assisted.
