RIVERSIDE — Rebecca A. Bulger, 58, of Ainsworth, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, May 21, at the Riverside VFW Post 6414. A general memorial fund has been established. The Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside is in charge of the arrangements.

Rebecca was born Sept. 17, 1958, in Iowa City, the daughter of John and JoAnn “Judy” (Jackson) Bulger.

She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, making greeting cards, helping her neighbors and others, and most of all spending time with family and friends. She was known for her many acts of kindness toward others.

Surviving are her soul mate, Kevin McCormick of Ainsworth; two sisters, Debbie Ritchie and husband Jim of The Villages, Florida, and Lori Waldschmidt and husband Ken of Riverside; one brother, Mark and wife Jacque of Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters-in-law, Cathleen (Mrs. Robert) Hobson of Chicago, Illinois, and Maureen McCormick of Chicago, Illinois; eight nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, David Bulger, and Robert Bulger in infancy.
