Stewart Boosters annual spring carnival to be held April 27

Apr 09, 2013

Stewart Boosters will be holding the annual Spring Carnival on April 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will feature a Western theme. There is a full slate of fun activities for the whole family including bounce house, carnival-style games, jail house photos, raffles, face painting, a silent auction, book fair, and concessions. Once again the silent auction will feature themed classroom baskets. Some of the fun themed baskets this year include Who Stole the Cookie?, Arts & Crafts, Day at the Beach, Emergency First Aid, Staycation, Spa and Yoga, Grill Master, Ice Cream Sundae and many more. There will also be other great items such as zoo or pool passes, hotel stays and water park passes, and Disney World park hopper passes.

To get in the carnival spirit, students at Stewart Elementary will participate in a coloring contest, a carnival mystery, and spirit week dress up days. Stop by Stewart sometime that week and you may find kids who came to school without combing their hair or who have grown a mustache overnight during Crazy Hair and Mustache Day! Or you may find you have stepped back in time on Favorite Decade Day. Other dress-up days include Favorite Character Day, Spirit Day and of course Cowboy/Cowgirl Day.

All proceeds from the carnival will be used to further the mission of Stewart Boosters and provide funding for projects at Stewart Elementary School.
