This recital took place at the Music Hall on the campus of Iowa State University, Ames, on May 15, 2013. She is the daughter of Bruce and Jane Murphy.

Keri has studied privately with Dr. Jason Edwards at Iowa Wesleyan College and for the last two years came away from solo contest with a perfect score on her ballot. One student from each performance center is chosen as the outstanding performer for the day and is invited to participate in the recital.
