The Washington Public Library would like to invite the public to take advantage of several free summer mini-concerts. Concerts this summer will feature recent high school graduates and current college students who have excelled in music.

The first concert in this "Young Artist Series" will take place Thursday, June 13 from 12:15 to 12:45 a.m. on the second floor of the library. Hoi Ting Davidson, a 2012 graduate of Iowa Mennonite School and a current sophomore violin major at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y., will perform a variety of selections from Beethoven to Leroy Anderson. She will be accompanied by pianist Susan See.
