Underage party found in Fairfield

Oct 08, 2013

FAIRFIELD — On Oct. 4, 2013, officers of the Fairfield Police Department Alcohol Enforcement Team, in conjunction with SIEDA, performed an alcohol saturation in Jefferson County. Officers were working a plain-clothes detail specifically designed to battle underage drinking in Jefferson County.
Officers received an anonymous tip that an underage party was taking place at 301 E. Hempstead in Fairfield. Undercover officers responded to the area and observed several juveniles at that location. When officers made contact, no adults were home at the residence. Officers determined that Hannah Elaine Morgan was hosting an underage party and that her father was not aware of the party.
The Fairfield Police Department Alcohol Enforcement Team issued five citations for possession under legal age, one citation for possession of drug paraphernalia, and one citation for possession of marijuana. Those arrested and charged with the above offenses are: Hannah Elaine Morgan, 16; Kyle Allen Schrobilgen, 15; William Lee Hurst, 16; Marquis Bedford, 16; and Drew Michael Timmons, 16.
All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The Fairfield Police Department would like to thank SIEDA for their continued support of the Alcohol Enforcement Team.
