Chapter Iowa J of National T.T.T. Society met at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 3, at Sassy’s Café in Wayland. President Ann Wilson led the group in the T.T.T. Grace and all enjoyed their meal and social time.

Following dinner, the Founder’s Service was led by Willa Wilson.

President Wilson called the business meeting to order and opened with singing Sword of Gold and a short meditation from the book, “Fabulosity.” She passed out newly approved copies of the local bylaws for each member.

Recording secretary Rachel Meyer took roll and read the minutes of the May meeting. Seventeen members answered roll call.

Correspondence included a thank-you from Lori Messer for her thoughtful gift following surgery.

Treasurer Linda Messer gave her report.

Georgia Fort reported for the camp committee that most of the shopping was completed and only tennis shoes were still needed for all camp girls. Joni Huisenga reported Wednesday would be a day she hoped to make last-minute preparations with the girls.

Doing a “Tip Night” at an area restaurant is possible during July as a fundraiser.

The plan to take a bus to national convention is bleak unless more sign up for it soon.

Lori Messer and Georgia Fort were elected as delegates for Iowa J to attend National Convention. Lori and Georgia gave reports from State Convention.

The next meeting of Iowa J will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the community room on July 1. Jennifer Miller and Jeanne Davis will serve as hostesses. The campers and families will be invited to attend and campers share about their experiences at T.T.T. Camp.
