Chapter Iowa J of the National T.T.T. Society met Monday evening Feb. 4, at the Wayland Community Room with 17 members present. President Ann Wilson gave a short meditation from the book “Fabulosity” on “Fabulous Is as Fabulous Does.”

Recording Secretary Rachel Meyer took roll and read minutes of the December meeting. Treasurer Linda Messer gave her report.

It was noted that Sara Seberg’s father had passed away and a memorial will be sent in his name.

Motion carried to send four campers this camping season. Georgia Fort reported having delivered the Christmas gift cards to last season’s campers.

Willa Wilson gave a report on a possible chartered bus to National Convention in October.

Joni Huisenga read correspondence including a letter from National regarding the IRS guidelines and a thank-you from Jen Miller. Call to State Convention was also discussed. Georgia Fort and Lori Messer were elected as delegates to State Convention in April. Registration for convention must be received by March 15. Motion to give monetary gifts to the National Project Fund and the National Endowment Fund carried. Motion carried to secure two tables for the Market Place at State Convention.

Amy McLaughlin, Cindy Seberg and Katy Samo will serve on the new Liaison Committee.

Bills were presented and allowed.

The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. March 4, at the Wayland Community Room with Connie Hotchkiss and Lori Graber serving as hostesses.

The evening hostesses Erica Stauffer and Janis Johnson served refreshments with a valentine theme and a time of visiting was enjoyed by all.
