Wildcats triumphant on road

BURLINGTON – The Columbus Community High School boys’ soccer team got a road Southeast Iowa Super Conference victory over the Notre Dame Nikes by a score of 6 – 2 last night.
Wildcat senior Bryan Santiago got a hat trick in the match and added an assist. Single goals were added by freshman Ruben Paz, freshman Alejandro Hernandez and senior Alex Cruz.
Cruz also registered two assists. Hernandez had an assist in the match as well.
Senior Kenan Todd again occupied the net for the Wildcats for the entire match, making five saves.
Columbus Community improves its record to 4 – 3 overall, 4 – 2 in conference matches. The Wildcats are scheduled to play at Highland in another conference match tomorrow.
