Woman arrested for two warrants

A woman who was wanted on two Washington County warrants was arrested Monday afternoon and will spend at least 12 days in the Washington County Jail.

According to the Washington County call log, Catherine Louise Swalley, 39, of Wellman, was arrested Monday afternoon in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington on two Washington County warrants.

The first warrant was for failure to appear for mittimus on an original charge of operating a motor vehicle while license was barred.

The report said there was no bond and she must serve seven days. The second warrant was for failure to appear for mittimus on an original charge of operating a motor vehicle while license was barred and for possession of methamphetamine, first offense.

The report said there was no bond and she must serve 12 days in jail.

All the days will be served concurrently.
